It’s All in the Details

Form follows function. But in the PC-12 NGX, it’s a very close second. Each aircraft is individually and exquisitely crafted to not only meet your exacting expectations, but also those of our demanding Swiss heritage. From the very moment you enter the cabin, it’s apparent that the PC-12 NGX is truly in a class of its own – even among aircraft priced much higher. You’ll appreciate the Swiss craftsmanship and attention to detail presented in the form of custom hand-sewn leather, exclusive hardwood cabinetry and fine upholstery that abound throughout the aircraft. It even extends into areas deep in the aircraft that only a mechanic might see. It all matters to us, so go ahead and sweat the details – we do, too.

The Future of Turboprop Technology

Building on the proven success of its predecessor, the PC-12 NGX offers pilots the latest technologies in navigation, safety, and situational awareness. With tools and features more advanced than most airliners, the PC-12 NGX raises the bar with enhanced graphical displays, weather on the vertical situation display, full ADS-B IN functionality, 3D audio, detailed 2D airport moving maps, SmartLanding and SmartRunway awareness and advisory system, flight path guidance for visual approaches, controller-pilot datalink communications, and even an optional digital autothrottle system – the first of its kind in a business turboprop. Don’t wait for the future – it’s here today in the PC-12 NGX.

The World’s Most Versatile Platform

The PC-12 NGX is virtually unrivalled in terms of special mission capability. It affords operators the ability to cover a whole range of assignments with a single-aircraft type, including surveillance, medical assistance, cargo transport and search and rescue. In other words: missions which require immediate intervention and total reliability.

The Best Possible Care – Anytime, Anywhere

The PC-12 has successfully proved its credentials in this field to clients around the world. Operators are impressed by the aircraft’s flexibility and high availability. The Royal Flying Doctor Service of Australia and Ornge of Canada are among the users of specially configured PC-12s for medical missions. The PC-12 is the ideal ambulance aircraft, not least for its low operating costs and unique ability to operate in and out of unpaved runways.

The generous pressurised cabin offers sufficient space and comfort for up to three patients plus medical systems. The large cargo door ensures easy loading and unloading, and the cabin can be reconfigured in line with the mission profile for maximum operator flexibility.

Search & Rescue

When Time Is the Most Important Factor

The PC-12 NGX may be configured with a multipurpose utility/drop door. This extra door is integrated within the large cargo door and can be opened in flight. It gives the aircraft a unique advantage across a wide range of missions: the smaller door allows dropping of e.g. food and aid supplies, or deplaning of skydivers. The combi-version with four seats, for example, offers generous stowage space for aid supplies or auxiliary equipment.

Your Gain in the Air

The PC-12 is particularly well suited for surveillance work, and can also accomplish a multitude of missions. Compared to twin-engine turboprop, jet, and rotary-wing aircraft, the PC-12 NGX is far less costly to buy and operate over its lifecycle.

Spectre Surveillance System

The PC-12 NGX Spectre serves as an excellent platform from which to conduct surveillance missions. The electro-optical and infrared sensor system is located in the tailcone and is lowered and retracted as required by a lift device remotely operated by the pilot or the mission controller. The two inward-opening doors minimise air resistance and allow 360° sensor field of view when lowered into the air stream.

Performance with Flexibility

The PC-12 NGX cargo door is a big plus, allowing easy loading and unloading of bulky or heavy freight. Thousands of flight hours in harsh environments have proven that the PC-12’s versatility, high payload and superb quality of construction count amongst the main reasons why it is used by many civilian organisations and government bodies for passenger and cargo transport. Very few aircraft can match the PC-12 NGX in terms of operating costs.

Depending on the type of cargo, the cabin can be equipped in different configurations. For bulky items, seats can be removed easily and quickly to free up the entire 330 cubic feet for stowage. For passenger transport, a nine-seat version offers an exceptionally high level of comfort during the flight. Passengers appreciate the unbeatable benefits of this configuration. A variety of luxury seat options are also available for business use.

Engineered Like No Other

The latest version of the PC-12 NGX both climbs and cruises faster with no increase in horsepower. Through clever aerodynamic refinements, it is five knots faster than its predecessor, with a top cruise speed of 290 knots (537 kilometres per hour). Maximum range has been extended to 1,765 nautical miles (3,269 kilometres).
